Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Partners with 20Fathoms to Bring Startup Coaching Office Hours to Downtown Elk Rapids

Monthly Office Hours Start January 15, 2025, to Support Entrepreneurs in the Chain of Lakes Region

Elk Rapids, MI – January 1, 2025 – The Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new partnership with 20Fathoms and the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance to bring 20Fathoms startup coaching office hours to the Chain of Lakes/Antrim County. Starting on January 15, 2025, these office hours will take place on the third Wednesday of every month from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm in the Waterside Office Building, 212 River Street, first-floor conference room.

This program is designed to assist start-up businesses, but entrepreneurs at any stage are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity. The initiative aims to provide local businesses in the Antrim County/Chain of Lakes Area with access to valuable expertise and resources from 20Fathoms, helping them grow and succeed.

Jean Derenzy, Executive Director of the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, shared her enthusiasm for the new program: "This partnership with 20Fathoms is a tremendous opportunity for our entrepreneurs in the Chain of Lakes area. It highlights the amazing talent we have right here in Northern Michigan and offers invaluable support for local start-ups and established businesses alike."

Gene Davis, Chair of the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, expressed his excitement as well: "Bringing 20Fathoms to our area has been a long-term goal for our Chamber. We are thrilled to see this collaboration come to life and to see entrepreneurs in our region benefit from the expertise 20Fathoms provides."

To kick off the program, an open house will be held on January 15, 2025, to welcome 20Fathoms to their new space and introduce the monthly office hours. Open House will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Entrepreneurs, business owners, and the public are invited to attend and learn more about the resources available to help businesses succeed.
