The purpose of the STL Firefighters Association is to assist in community awareness and education of the public and to provide equipment for the health and safety of the South Torch Lake Fire Department. The department is comprised of paid on-call volunteers, which are highly educated and trained to serve and protect our community. STLFD is a constant presence in the community, hosting and volunteering at events:

Community Dinners

Feeding families at Christmas, providing Christmas gifts for families, and bringing Santa to the party.

Assisting with utility bills, supplying wood for heating homes for those in need.

Summertime Beef Roast Fundraiser

Though the generosity of many we have over twenty surfboards designed by local businesses, artists, and members of the community. We will feature a different surfboard on our FB page daily.

The surfboards will be on display at the restaurant for viewing.

Auction preview is 6:30 PM on Friday August 14th, and the auction will start at 7:30pm at Johnny’s Torch Riviera.

If you are unable to attend the event, we will have absentee bid sheets.
