New Hospitality, Local Nonprofits, and Major International Competitions Coming to Northern Michigan
Traverse City, MI – March 26, 2025 — Tickets are now available for the 2025 season of Traverse City Horse Shows (TCHS), a signature summer tradition at Flintfields Horse Park.
This year features bundled ticket options, expanded group hospitality, and the Michigan debut of the FEI Nations Cup, held Thursday, July 24, during the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival.
Giving Back Through Sport
TCHS donates 100% of general admission revenue to local nonprofits through its Charity Ticket Program.
This year’s partners include the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, the City Opera House, and Friends of the Elk Rapids District Library. Since launching, the program has raised more than $100,000 for Northern Michigan nonprofits.
Plan Your Summer Visit
TCHS is open Wednesday through Sunday, starting June 4. Free admission is available on non-ticketed days, and ticketed events are held most Sundays and on select special dates.
This season introduces group seating at The Overlook, a shaded second-story space with hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary bar.
World-Class Competition Returns
In addition to the Nations Cup, the 2025 lineup includes:
- Major League Show Jumping
- Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Qualifier
- The 34th American Gold Cup
- FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) – featuring Olympic-style jumping and dressage freestyle
“Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or anniversary, planning a group outing, or simply looking for something to do on a summer afternoon, we’d love to have you,” said Gary Howe, Marketing Director at Traverse City Horse Shows. “Flintfields Horse Park is a space for everyone—watch world-class sport, grab a beer or share a bottle of wine, and enjoy something you won’t find anywhere else in Michigan.”
