Norte Youth Cycling Expands Staff in Elk Rapids
Traverse City/Elk Rapids: Norte Youth Cycling today announced that Megan Day has joined Norte as Community Liaison, Elk Rapids, effective May 20th.
Megan is a lifelong resident of Northern Michigan. She has spent most of her adult life focused on celebrating the local community through working with area nonprofits, supporting small businesses, and bolstering local agricultural initiatives. Megan started her career in 2013 at Mt. Holiday, followed by time in the construction sector and agricultural hospitality before joining the Norte team. The goal of her work has always been connecting with the people and organizations who make Northern Michigan a spectacular place to live. Growing up and now raising a family in rural parts of the area, Megan has a unique perspective on fostering connections in small towns that will serve Elk Rapids and Antrim County in building happy, healthy, and strong communities.
“I am thrilled to be joining Norte’s mission to cultivate connection and build confidence with the next generation,” says Megan. “The excitement continues to build knowing we are doing this joyful work in a community I’ve always admired for its strength and dedication to one another.”
"We are thrilled to welcome Megan as our first Elk Rapids/Antrim County Community Liaison. This role is a vital step forward in deepening our connection and impact across Antrim County. Megan will ensure consistency, foster meaningful relationships, and help shape a Norte experience that truly reflects and supports the needs of the community.” — Jill Sill, Executive Director, Norte Youth Cycling
