Position Summary
This is a mostly in-office position, with opportunity for occasional work-from-home ability down the road. As a Licensed Agent, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our clients, developing new business opportunities, and upholding agency documentation standards. You will represent the agency with professionalism while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Compensation range reflects both a base salary (negotiable based on experience), along with opportunities for commission. We are looking to tailor the compensation package to the needs of the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Service and manage an existing book of business, including policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries
- Proactively review accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities
- Handle inbound sales opportunities and referrals
- Communicate coverage details clearly and professionally to clients
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency workflows
- Work collaboratively with internal team members to ensure excellent client experience
- Acting as an ambassador for the agency among your community and networks to help foster new prospects
- Additional projects/tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance sales (required)
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, polished communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle high-net-worth or discerning clients with care and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
