Housekeeping Associate
Position Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for the daily cleaning of all guest rooms, public areas, and common areas of our Kewadin, MI hotel. The Housekeeper will maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all guest rooms, public areas, and the public areas of the hotel. The Housekeeper will also perform laundry duties as assigned, including but not limited to linen re-folding, cleaning the laundry room, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The Housekeeper will report to the Hotel Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of position such as being able to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling and reaching overhead. Must also be able to work during periods of inclement weather.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others, both directly and through management. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions for several hours per day. Must be able to work weekends when needed (Weekends are required)
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
