Baker

Michigander Bakery and Coffee Co. is seeking a baker to join the team at our Elk Rapids Bakery! Our bakers are responsible for the day-to-day production at our Elk Rapids bakery. This includes preparing raised donuts, cake donuts, danish, croissant, bread, cookies, granola, brownies, and confections as well as assisting with sales and barista positions as needed. Bakers are expected to maintain a clean, organized and professional work space at all times.

Strong communication skills are important, as this role works closely with the sales team and management to ensure high-quality products are prepared efficiently and accurately to meet our customers expectations and stay ahead of production issues.

What You’ll Need

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment

Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients

Ability to stand and work on your feet for shifts up to 10 hours

Availability to work nights, weekends, and busy shifts (required)

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $18.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience, education and certifications

Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
