Starting Pay: $15/hour (Part-Time, with opportunities for Full-Time, Benefits, & Advancement)

The historic Elk Rapids Cinema, part of the Chalfonte Theatre, is looking for passionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team! Whether you're interested in customer service, concessions, projection, or management, we have a role for you.
Available Positions: We are hiring for multiple positions, including:
Customer Service & Operations
- Box Office Clerk / Ticket Sales – Greet guests, sell tickets, answer customer inquiries, and provide showtime information.
- Ushers – Assist patrons in finding seats, ensure a comfortable environment, and help with general theatre upkeep.
- Concessions Staff – Serve food and beverages, operate the popcorn machine, and provide friendly customer service.
- Projectionist / Technician – Operate the digital projector, ensure top-quality sound and visuals, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Audio Engineer – Manage the cinema’s sound system for optimal audio quality during screenings and special events.
- Housekeeping / Cleaning Staff – Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the cinema, ensuring a welcoming experience for guests.
- Box Office Manager – Oversee ticket sales, assist customers, and manage daily revenue records.
- Concessions Manager – Supervise concessions staff, manage inventory, and maintain food service operations.
- House Manager – Act as a liaison between staff and patrons, ensuring smooth operations during events and screenings.
- Passionate about movies, media, and entertainment
- Friendly and customer-focused
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work evenings and weekends
- Team player with strong communication skills
- No experience necessary – we will train the right candidates!
