Flintfields Horse Park – Williamsburg, MI

Traverse City Horse Shows is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead bar, catering, and food operations at Flintfields Horse Park during the summer season.

This role supports a high-volume, multi-location program serving competitors, spectators, and hospitality guests across a 13-week circuit. The position combines day-to-day execution with team leadership, planning, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all bar operations, including setup, staffing, inventory, and sales tracking
  • Manage the TCHS Food Truck and support grab-and-go and pop-up food programs
  • Coordinate with catering partners and outside food vendors
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage seasonal staff
  • Align food and beverage operations with event schedules and peak demand
  • Manage budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Support hospitality areas and special events across the venue

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or event operations
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory, budgeting, and POS systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the season

Position Details

  • Season: April through mid-October
  • Location: Flintfields Horse Park, Williamsburg, MI
  • Compensation: Based on experience ($30k - $35,000 for the 6 months)
