Description
Pastels are the perfect medium for expressing the subtle colors of snow, shadows, and light of this season. Join naturalist and artist Arlene Westhoven at Grass River Natural Area on Saturday, January 19 at 1 pm as she shares pastel techniques. Add in the bright touches of pine needles, the red of woodpecker crests, or the glow of a sunrise and you will find that winter is more colorful than you thought. There is an $8 cost for this 2-hour program and all supplies provided. For more information or to register visit grassriver.org. The entrance to Grass River Natural Area is located at 6500 Alden Highway, Bellaire MI.
