Description
Northern Michigan artist Mary Guntzviller will be teaching watercolor painting classes at the Twisted Fish Gallery through February. Classes will run for four weeks and participants of all skill levels are welcome. Each class builds on the previous week’s, but students will not be left behind should they not be able to attend all four.
Students will choose a subject and begin with a little drawing, then move on to creating their paintings. Guntviller will explore mixing colors, and identifying warm and cool colors.
“We’ll investigate a little of everything,” says Guntzviller.
The three hour classes begin Wednesday, February 7 and will run from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Cottage Gallery. Class dates are: Feb. 7; Feb. 14; Feb. 21 and Feb. 28. The cost is $45 per class and seating is limited to 10 participants.
“Mary helps everyone find their inner artist… She is a fun and fabulous teacher!” says Lynn Streit, the gallery’s community liaison.
