Tour ER Hydroelectric Dam

Description

The public is invited to a rare opportunity to tour the hydroelectric dam and powerhouse.  Construction of this historical structure began in 1916 and powr generation began in 1918.
Staff from Elk Rapids Hydroelectric LLC, the Antrim county Department of Dams, and the Edward C. Grace Memorial Harbor of ER will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the history and future of the powerhouse, and its relationship to the harbor in ER.
