Shanty to Short's Beer Run

It's back. Our annual morning beer run from Shanty to Short's. Once again we'll start Mother's Day weekend off with a downhill 5K and 10K fun run. Grab a friend and lace up your running shoes. Here are the details:  Registration Pre-register online or mail a hardcopy registration form along with $20 (see race fees below). If mailing please have postmarked by Tuesday, May 3. Or drop it off in-person at Shanty Creek's Front Desk. Race Fees $20 if registering before May 3; after May 3, $25. Checks made payable to Shanty Creek Resorts (sorry, no refunds). Tee Shirts Guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Courses Race begins at 10am in front of the main entrance of The Lakeview Hotel. Both courses are downhill for the first 1.8 miles. The 5K is all paved. The 10K includes a short distance off-road (gravel and dirt). Map Run Awards For each distance: overall male and female; overall master male and female; and top 3 men and women in each age group: 14 and under 15-20 21-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70 and over Transportation Transportation will be provided by Shanty Creek from Short's back to SCR between 11am–1pm. Packet Pick-Up Friday, May 6 from 6-8pm or Saturday, May 7 (race day!) from 7-9:30am.
