The Music House Museum is proud to welcome the Old Town Playhouse’s Staged Reading group’s special performance of Sam Shovel – Private Eye, Saturday, February 7 at 4:00PM
It’s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick. Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry. Though no one would ever think of Sam having anything to do with high fashion, it’s up to the private eye to find the connecting thread and sew up the case. This 1940s detective noir parody Staged Reading will be reminiscent of an old-time radio show, complete with live sound effects, and is sure to leave you in stitches!
