Pop-up Farmers Market @ Mill Creek Elementary

Description

Students and teachers will have a chance to meet local farmeers and purchase seasonal product.  This market is co-organized by the TBAISD Farm to School team and Taste the Local Difference.  Market vendors will have items for sale that are sized and priced for students.  Students should plan to bring $1-$5 on market day and also bring their own shopping bag if possible.  Teachers should come to the market ready to medel good farmer's market behavior and guide students (especially younger students) through the market.  Teachers will receive teacher vouchers that can be used to purchase market items.  All K-6th grade teachers will receive appoximately $10 worth of teacher vouchers.
