Description
Join us for the finale "It's a Shore Thing" of the season We'll return to Twisted Fish Art Gallery, our favorite venue for "It's a Shore Thing" events, for the first time since 2019 to hear what the Village of Elk Rapids has done with a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant to capture and filter millions of gallons of stormwater runoff. The project reduces the volume of sediment, nutrients, and other pollution reaching Grand Traverse Bay. The group will hear from Sarah U’Ren, program director for The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, which led the effort to win the grant. This event will be under a tent at the art gallery, 10443 S Bay Shore Drive, Elk Rapids.
