Chamber to host presentation on the Future of Healthcare in Northern Michigan
 
On Thursday March 2, 2017 the ERACC will host Munson Healthcare CEO Ed Ness who will be speaking on the “Future of Healthcare in Northern Michigan.”
 
Munson Healthcare remains the largest employer in Northern Michigan and is committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and affordable health care to residents in 24 counties across the Northern Lower and Eastern Upper Peninsulas. With debates occurring this year regarding the repeal, replacement or changing of the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Medicare, public policy plays an increasingly critical role in shaping Munson Healthcare’s ability to provide quality health care services close to home. In this presentation  Ed Ness, Munson Healthcare CEO, will explain how proposed changes to the ACA and the Healthy Michigan Plan (Medicaid) could impact residents, businesses, and patients in our area, and describe ways in which the growth of the Munson Healthcare System is shaping a regional network of quality care.
 
This luncheon event will be held at the Lighthouse, 308 Elm Street, Elk Rapids, MI. from 11:30a.m. - 1:30p.m.
