"Our Fieldstone Heritage"
Presented by: Peter Daly, Journalist (Retired)
Michigan farmers regarded fieldstones as a nuisance. Thousands of years before, glaciers had scattered them across the landscape, and they interfered with spring plowing. Builders, however, used fieldstones to create beautiful houses, schools, churches, barns, and other structures. Join us to discover the buildings that constitute Michigan’s fieldstone heritage. elkrapidshistory.org
