Winners of the window decoration contest will be announced Thursday, December 7 at the Elk Rapids Women's annual Christmas party and gift auction. The potluck party is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Elk Rapids Women, as well as members, their friends, and spouses.
A highlight of the party is the annual gift auction. A gift exchange with a twist, each attendee brings a wrapped white-elephant-style present. The unopened presents will be auctioned to the highest bidder, and all money raised goes towards the Elk Rapids Women's scholarship program.
The Christmas party will be held at Townline Ciderworks, 11595 US 31 South, Williamsburg, from 6–8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7. Guests are invited to bring a dish to pass as well as a wrapped gift for the auction.
