Come ready to have a great time! Class begins with gathering on the shore for a brief review on safety and paddle basics. Please be ready to launch together at 9 AM. We will anchor and move through a slow flow on your board. The class ends with a deep relaxation on the water, with the sound of waves lapping at your board.
Please bring your own board (or borrow/rent one), paddle and personal flotation device. I will have the other small equipment that you need. Other optional items for you to bring are sunglasses, hat, or water bottle, but anything you bring may get wet! You may want to bring a change of clothes and a towel. Wear sunscreen and clothes that you can get wet in, swimsuit or dry-fit yoga wear works well. Avoid excessively baggy clothing. It will feel heavy if it gets wet. Feel free to leave cameras and phones on shore. I will take pictures for you!
Class size is limited, so it is best to register beforehand, otherwise it will be first come, first served. Give yourself 20 minutes before and after class to unload and load your board. Please be prepared for any last minute changes due to weather conditions. Any cancellations will be posted on our website and Facebook. SUP yoga is a water sport. We require all participants to have swimming ability.
