Description
Would you like to attract more birds, bees, and butterflies to your garden? Attend this presentation to learn about specific plants and gardening practices that will enhance the landscaping for these pollinators. Both birds and insects can be attracted to thoughtfully designed gardens as they seek food and breeding sites. Their precence will create visual interest and beauty for you and will enhance biodiversity in our region. Julie Hurd is an Advanced Master Gardener who particularly enjoys studying Michigan's native wildflowers. She is a member of the Wildflower Association of Michigan. She leads weekly wildflower hikes throughout the blooming season at Grass River Natural Area in Bellaire and also teaches classes on gardening with native plants.
