The Music House Museum welcomes back acclaimed northern Michigan pianist David Chown at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, for a tribute to the songs of the 70s. Performing on the Concert Baldwin, David will take audiences through instrumental versions of memorable 1970s songs while exploring the music behind them and offering a unique perspective five decades later

David Chown is a well-known Traverse area pianist who owns and operates Lookout Music Productions, is co-owner of MusicHub.Live, and teaches audio technology at Northwestern Michigan College. He has released five albums of piano music and three albums with Miriam Picó, and he is a regular performer and supporter of the Music House Museum.
