Come to connect this month with fellow creatives and learn how to make your own simple notebook to capture observations, especially as the natural world continues waking up for spring. Artist Michelle Tock York will lead a journal making activity for you to create a simple Japanese notebook or pamphlet as a handy tool you to use to record your ideas and inspirations for your art. Hosted by the beautiful and inspiring Twisted Fish Gallery, located in Elk Rapids, we are excited to gather and share the ways we find and record inspirations to incorporate into our creative processes. Bring your own art supplies such as fine point pens or drawing pencils to spend some time sketching or journaling in the gallery or outside among sculptures and nature.

It should be a fun evening of creativity, artful conversation, and light refreshments.
