Description
Join us for a tour of the buildings and grounds at Mitchell Creek Meadows: The Don and Jerry Oleson Preserve, led by GTRLC Ambassadors Sally Proctor and Terrie Taylor. This tour will include an inside look at the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy’s new conservation hub and office space, including the McMullen Family Conservation Center, the Bob and Pauline Young Family Stewardship Workshop, and the native plant greenhouse and goat barn. Come out to experience this incredible new infrastructure that will help to conserve our region’s natural resources for now and generations to come. The Basics No prior knowledge is necessary - just come ready to learn something new! This event is mild, with attendees walking and standing on a flat surface for about an hour. There is one set of stairs included in the tour, which is optional. Please park in a designated spot and meet us in the main gallery of the building. Registration is required. Cancellations due to weather or any other reason will be emailed to registered participants. Thank you for your interest in joining us! If you have any questions, please contact us at (231) 929-7911 or info@gtrlc.org.
