Description
The Music House is thrilled to welcome back Charlie Millard. We were first introduced to this talented young singer/song writer as one of the 'Friends' in our Nov. 2016 concert, 'The Accidentals and Friends'. He was as excited about the Music House as we were impressed with his talent! You don't want to miss this up-and-coming artists and band.
Charlie Millard has been entertaining Northern Michigan diners, audiences, fundraisers, and festivals with his piano playing since he was 14 years old. His first album, Hattie Jane, came out in 2012. His growing popularity has him traveling all over the state so we are lucky to get him back!
Charlie co-founded Hattie Jane Records with his song writing, record producing, and playing partner, and father, Jerry Millard. With percussionist Michael Binienda, they have formed a trio that has been thrilling crowds wherever they stop to play, with influences like Tom Waits, Patrick Watson, and The Kinks. He has developed a unique sound, voice and thought-provoking lyrics/poetry of his own with tones of an indie-Americana style that is reminiscent of a Seventies? folk/rock, singer/songwriter.
