Switchback Live at HERTH

The Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall Association (HERTHA) presents Switchback live in concert on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at HERTH Hall, 401 River Street in Elk Rapids.

Switchback is the award-winning duo of Martin McCormack and Brian FitzGerald, together for more than three decades. Named Top Duo by the Irish Music Association, the pair plays over 200 engagements a year across the United States, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands, and has appeared on PBS. Their “American Roots and Celtic Soul” tour pairs original Americana storytelling with spirited Celtic rhythm — and the Elk Rapids stop puts an international touring act on stage in one of Michigan’s most intimate historic rooms.

That room is HERTH Hall, the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall. Built in 1883 and owned and operated by HERTHA, the hall has anchored downtown Elk Rapids for more than 140 years and today hosts concerts, theatre, weddings, and community gatherings year-round.

Tickets are on sale now at zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/american-roots-and-celtic-soul. Early Bird general admission is $30 through November 13; general admission is $35 thereafter and at the door. Donations in support of HERTHA are welcome.
