The Village of Elk Rapids Invites YOU to Learn More about Composting and Recycling
Plan to attend the Introductory Class and choose your level of learning and involvement.
Together we will explore ways to reduce landfill waste through composting, recycling, and reusing materials.

Open to all Elk Rapids Township, Village, and Antrim County Residents
If you’ve ever wondered about where things go, or what kind of impact your efforts really make, this class is for you! You’ll learn about the myths and truths of recycling. Whether for own personal knowledge, or sharing with others, or to become a Certified Master Composter.
After this orientation, future learning opportunities will be tailored to individual interests, needs, and schedules. We will accommodate Snowbird and Summer Resident schedules because we know…
