About Us

Mico's Torch Riviera is a historic dining establishment located at the south end of beautiful Torch Lake in Rapid City, MI. The Torch Riviera building was constructed in 1936 and has borne a variety of identities, including a grocery store, gas station, dance hall, Chinese restaurant, local watering hole, upscale dining, and more. The thread that ties all these incarnations together is the longstanding tradition of community throughout the building’s life. The Torch Riviera has long been a hub for social gatherings, re connections, and community building. Mico’s Restaurant Dominic Fortuna purchased (formally Dewitt’s, Fetz’s, Twin Knights) Lodge in 1976, at the mouth of Clam River at Torch Lake. He and His wife Antonina (Toni), along with their four children.: Patrick, Michelle, Joseph, and 'Dominic. Jr. converted it into a very successful Italian, American Restaurant. 'The restaurant was Mico’s, which was a nickname for 'Dominic. On January 12, 1998, 'Mico's was destroyed by a devastating fire. The New local owners Dominic Fortuna & John Feola have a passion for local history. Purchased the Torch Riviera and combined 84 years of history & great memories of Two Iconic Torch Lake Restaurants into one. Good food, great times, and excellent service are what really make - Mico's and The Torch Riviera shine. Our motto is ''We Do Good Food''
Dine In or Carry Out.
