About Us
The Library serves residents of the Village and Township of Elk Rapids, Milton Townships.
Non resident library cards are available.
Welcome
The Elk Rapids District Library is located next to the harbor on beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. In addition to books, we also have audiobooks, DVDs, hot spots, public computers, a library of things, free wi-fi, and outstanding programs, for adults and children. Come check out what's happening at your library!
About the Island House
The Elk Rapids District Library is housed in the former residence of one of the town's founding families. For more information, read this article or stop in the library to browse our Michigan and Great Lakes historical collections.
