**Snowsnake track is currently under construction. We are trying our best to host the event this coming weekend **
The snowsnake is an Indigenous game played during the winter. All ages can participate 1-100😊. A long track is constructed in the snow and the snakes are slid/thrown down, object of the game is to throw the longest distance and have fun. Snow snakes are made of wood, ranging in sizes 2’-6’ or more and can be made at home. Generally 1’’-2’’ in diameter, smoothed through sanding, can also be coated with ski wax, or polyurethane or beeswax, whatever your preference. Snowsnakes can be decorated using wood burners, paint, even markers. Hot Dogs, chili, cocoa and coffee provided. This is an outdoor event, dress for the weather, camp chair (optional), school bathrooms will be open. Community event, open to all.
