The Traverse City Shop & Sip is northern Michigan's favorite handmade holiday craft market! For our 9th year, we are excited to announce that the TCSS will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort in the newly renovated Governors' Hall Ballroom. 2019 will offer 75 vendors, a fresh VIP Preview experience, cash bars, special hotel & spa rates plus discounts throughout the Gallery of Shops as well as free (valet is also available) parking and admission to our event. The Grand Traverse Resort is in Acme which is adjacent to Traverse City, and just minutes to downtown Traverse City restaurants, breweries, theaters and shopping, as well as being local to the endless outdoor splendor of northern Michigan. Whether you're a shopper or a vendor, join us in 2019 for the 9th annual Traverse City Shop & Sip!

The Traverse City Shop & Sip has been a bit crowded for the first few hours of the event from the beginning. We LOVE the phenomenal support of our community, but know that it's been difficult to get around the show when it's so darned busy. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase ahead of time to kick start your shopping experience ahead of the crowd on the day of the event. From 1-3 pm ticket holders will be able to shop and sip exclusively without the sardine vibe that has been common in recent years. Tickets will be available for purchase in October, date to be announced.

Since Kafi our tarot card reader was such a hit in 2018, we will be welcoming her back this year! Much like the TCSS, chatting with Kafi from Higher Self is a can't miss!

Another great feature to the event this year will be special hotel and spa rates offered to our vendors and shoppers! Shop & Sip, then Stay & Spa at the Grand Traverse Resort! We will be posting more information on this as we get closer to the event.

While we don't charge a cover fee to attend the Traverse City Shop & Sip, we do ask that you attend our event ready to support our local artists by spending! This is an excellent opportunity to get your shopping done, while beginning or continuing an annual tradition of giving handmade! The best holiday gifts come from the Traverse City Shop & Sip!

Payment options vary artist to artist, so be sure to ask. Some may have the ability to use a card, but cash is always king! Please be prepared. There is an ATM in the hotel.
