Plein Air Workshop with Louise Pond

One of our most popular workshops… Students choose the medium they prefer working in as Louise teaches techniques and shares her wisdom of the plein air process.

This one day workshop will be a fast paced exploration of painting plein air- making marks, elinimnating the unnecessary, telling the most with the least amount of details- with individual instruction on seeing value correctly and understanding color, temperature, and composition.

*Students can paint from the medium of their choice, but Louise will be painting in pastel. 

*Wet medium students must have a basic concept of color mixing.

*Weather permitting- rain date will be scheduled as needed.
