DESCRIPTION:The Elk Rapids Indigenous Youth Initiative invites the public to its first Winter Snow Snake event at Glowicki Field\, weather permitting.  Snow Snake is a traditional Native American game in which carved wood snakes\, two to six feet in length\, are thrown for distance down a smooth track of snow.  Hot dogs\, chili\, hot cocoa\, and coffee will be provided.  \n\nThe ERIYI provies educational\, hands-on experiences where students learn the importance of preserving culture\, building positive relationships\, sustainable living\, and taking care of the environment.
