DESCRIPTION:The Bob: Feb. 22-24\, 2019\n\nNow in its 20th year\, The Bob Swanson Memorial Scholarship Tournament and Fundraiser was formed to commemorate the memory of Bob Swanson\, a great friend and husband\, team player\, and true champion of the game of tennis. \n\n \n\nThe tournament features men's\, women's\, and mixed divisions at 6.0\, 7.0\, 8.0\, and Open levels. Divisions are open to intermediate and advanced high school and adult players\, and high school seniors participating in the tournament are also eligible to apply for the Bob Swanson Memorial Scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who are actively involved in competitive tennis in the Northern Michigan district of the United States Tennis Association Midwest Section. \n\n \n\nPlay will begin on Friday\, February 22\, at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa\, and the championship matches will be held on Sunday\, February 24. An entry fee of $60 per player per division includes a T-shirt and entrance to the Saturday night BOB BASH (also at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa). To register\, visit the USTA Tournament website.
