The film will be accompanied live by Interlochen Arts Academy Staff Pianist Steve Larson on the Museum's nine-foot Baldwin Grand Piano\, with guest percussionist Keith Aleo performing on a wide range of traditional and non-traditional percussion instruments.\n\nMetropolis is one of the landmark achievements of silent cinema and an early masterpiece of science fiction. Set in a futuristic city divided by class and power\, the film remains celebrated for its striking imagery\, ambitious scale\, and lasting influence on the visual language of film.\n\nSteve Larson has performed in recitals and chamber music festivals throughout the Midwest and has extensive experience as a dance accompanist\, including work with the Milwaukee Ballet\, Minnesota Dance Theater\, Alaska Dance Theater\, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago\, and Ballet Hispanico. Keith A.
