DESCRIPTION:This Friday and Saturday\, March 5 & 6\, the Downtown Elk Rapids Association is hosting a "Lord of the Rings Scavenger Hunt" inspired by the showing of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy at the Elk Rapids Cinema beginning March 5 through March 25.\n\n \n\nFirst\, purchase a map for $5 at any of the locations listed below. In addition\, you can purchase discounted Movie Tickets for $5 each (child or adult) for any showing of The Lord of The Rings during the March event. Remember\, movie tickets also make great gifts! (Please note that the scavenger hunt and discounted ticket purchase are only available this Friday and Saturday. Movie tickets purchased can be used at ANY Lord of the Rings showing in March)\n\n \n\nThen\, start your journey to the Shire\, pass through the Misty Mountains\, take a dip in the Brandywine River\, go through Fangorn's Forest\, and do not forget to explore both Gondor and Mordor in search of artifacts! Once you find at least 6 artifacts\, turn your map into any participating location and you could win a $25 Gift Certificate from one of 12 Downtown stores.\n\n \n\nDuring this time\, the theater can seat up to 75 comfortably and provides plenty of social distance for all to relax and enjoy a movie. This beautifully restored Art Deco Theater has been updated with state-of-the-art digital projection and is located in Beautiful Downtown Elk Rapids.
