SUMMARY:Pine Hill Kids' Classes
DESCRIPTION:Kid's Classes:  Each class will focus on a gardening topic and the children will create something to take home.  Classes are $5/child or $10/family. Please register by noon of the day before the class to ensure we have enough materials. Call 231-599-2824 to sign-up.\n\nJune 29: Garden Science ( We will take a trip into the garden to learn all about plants in this fun hands-on-class)\n\nJuly 6: Bees\, Butterflies and Bugs ( We'll learn about the importance of these amazing creatures\, how to attract them to your garden\, and observe them in their natural environment.)\n\nJuly 13: It's for the Birds! ( We'll learn about the birds who live near us and why they are so important to our ecosystem.  The children will create their own bird feeders to attract these amazing creatures to your own backyard!)\n\nJuly 20: Garden Art ( We will look at examples of artwork used in gardens and create some of our own unique pieces.)\n\nJuly 27: Fantasy/Adventure Garden ( We'll create a fantasy/adventure container garden for your child to take home)\n\nAug. 3: Flower Arranging for Kids ( We will cut our own flowers from the gardens and create some beautiful & unique arrangements to take home.)\n\nAug. 10: Garden to Table Cooking Class (We will harvest from our Cafe garden and work in the outdoor kitchen to create and taste some delicious treats!)
