DESCRIPTION:The Music House is proud to present the third event of pianist Hyemin Kim's 2025 Classical Voyage: Pictures at an Exhibition\, Wednesday August 13\, 2025 at 7:00PM\n\nInterlochen Pianist Hyemin Kim presents Pictures at an Exhibition with music by Corigliano\, Debussy and Mussorgsky.\n\nA versatile performing artist and educator\, Dr. Hyemin Kim serves as a Collaborative Piano Faculty and teaches secondary piano lessons and a piano duo class at Interlochen Arts Academy and has a wide range of musical careers as a soloist\, recitalist\, collaborator\, chamber musician\, and piano instructor. As a featured soloist\, Kim has been invited to perform with several orchestras\, such as Philharmonische Solisten Bratislava (Mozart Hall\, Wiener Konzerthaus\, Austria)\, Archi Chamber Orchestra (Sungsan Art Hall\, South Korea)\, and Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra (Corson Auditorium\, Interlochen\, MI). She has also had numerous invitation performances throughout the U.S.\, Austria and Korea. Dr. Hyemin Kim holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance\, as well as her second Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from Michigan State University\, fully supported by Graduate Assistantships as a full scholarship recipient\; a Master of Music and Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Performance from Universit t f r Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz\, Austria\; and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Kookmin University\, South Korea.\n\nAs part of the Music House's 2025 Mid-Summer Music Fest\, your ticket includes a reception with soft drinks and treats on our new deck from 6:00 6:45PM\, prior to the concert.\n\nTickets are available for $25.00 at MyNorth Tickets or $30.00 at the door.
