DESCRIPTION:A new combined Career Fair in Traverse City will give job seekers the opportunity to connect with more than 80 employers. The Career & Employment Fair is being hosted by Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) and Northwest Michigan Works! and will include the formerly separate NMC Career Fair\, Jobs for Vets\, and Technology Career Fair events. The March 5 event will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at NMC's Hagerty Center located at 715 East Front Street. It will open one hour early\, at 2:00 p.m.\, to veterans and military families only.\n\n \n\nThe Career & Employment Fair is open to all job seekers\, including students\, NMC alumni\, and other community members. Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register and upload their resumes at nmc.edu/careerfair in the Attendees section. Pre-registered job seeker resumes will be sent to exhibiting employers prior to the event. Employers will be ready and waiting for you. Job seekers should also bring copies of their resumes to the event and come prepared for a professional\, onsite interview.\n\n \n\nThere is no charge to attend the Career & Employment Fair.
