DESCRIPTION:Educational field day on land and soil stewardship for farmers who are looking to advance their conservation practices.  This event will feature experts from the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy\, Grand Traverse Conservation District\, National Resources Conservation Service\, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development\, Northwest Michigan College\, and Grand Traverse Band.  Representatives from Taste the Local Difference and Food and Farming Network of Northwest Michigan will also be there.  A locally sourced lunch will be offered at no charge along with a live bluegrass band.
