DESCRIPTION:Renowned underwater and nature photographer Chris Roxburgh will present "Exploring Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes" at the Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall (HERTH) on Tuesday\, March 14. Roxburgh\, a master diver who has explored wrecks throughout the Great Lakes will share photos from his more recent adventures including those in the Mackinaw Straits and Thunder Bay's National Marine Sanctuary.  In 2020\, Roxburgh published his best-selling "Leelanau Underwater" book of shipwrecks in Leelanau County and the Manitou Passage. The program\, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Elk Rapids\, begins at 6:00 p.m. and is free of charge to the public.
