The regular monthly DDA meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. on January 13th \, 2016 at the Government Center. To ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to provide opinions\, feedback and more\, the DDA will also be holding a special meeting on January 13th\, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Government Center. Tell your friends\, neighbors and co-workers about these two meetings on the topic of food trucks operating in Elk Rapids. The more residents and concerned citizens that know about and attend these meetings will result in broader feedback\, input and options. The Village of Elk Rapids and the DDA acknowledges that public input in the planning and policy development process is crucial to building consensus and buy-in from the community. To that end\, we believe the sooner the public is involved in the planning process\, the easier it will be for new ideas and thoughts to be considered and incorporated into the final outcome.
