DESCRIPTION:Popular northern Michigan artist Charles Murphy will be teaching acrylic painting classes at the Twisted Fish Gallery beginning Thursday\, Sept. 14. Classes will run for six weeks and participants of all skill levels are welcome. Each class builds on the previous week?s\, but students will not be left behind should they not be able to attend all six.\n\n"You simply cannot go wrong with a painting class from Charles Murphy\," says Lynn Streit\, the gallery's community liaison. \n\n"From his more representational landscapes to his choice of color\, texture\, and scope of his more abstract work\, Charles will help you explore the style that best suits your vision of the canvas and perhaps even push you from your comfort zone to new artistic territory\," Streit adds.\n\n \n\nThe two hour class begins Sept. 14 and will run from 1:30 ? 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Cottage Gallery.
