DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Rigid Heddle Weaving\n\nLearn how to weave on a Rigid Heddle loom in this two day workshop. You will learn how to set up (warp) your loom\, and how to make a plain weave table runner. Nancy will loan each student a Rigid Heddle loom and all the warping tools. Students should bring about 125 yards each of two colors of worsted weight wool yarn. On the first day we will warp the looms and begin weaving. Students will be allowed to bring their looms home during the week between. In the second class we will continue weaving\, and discuss finishing techniques.
