Local individuals, historical organizations and chambers from Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet & Otsego counties are sharing the fascinating stories of their towns & villages, both past and present.  Generations is a chance to highlight the importance of northern Michigan’s history through a collection of photos and text from twenty local communities to be shared with Raven Hill visitors. Exhibit hours are Sep 1, 2019 to Oct 12, 2019, Saturdays, Noon – 4pm and Sundays, 2pm – 4pm. Generations is also open at other times by appointment.

On Saturday, September 28 from noon to 4pm, Raven Hill visitors can enjoy the Generations exhibit and learn about careers from both the past and present at the Generations Career Festival. Career volunteers will be here to demonstrate careers such as spinning, 3d printing, ham radio operators, drones, rope-making and surveying, both old and new.  The Center is still looking for more Career volunteers.

Raven Hill Discovery Center (www.MiRavenHill.org) is the only place in northern Lower Michigan where children and adults can link science, history & the arts with hands-on activities and explorations both inside and out. Connections emerge through exhibits, facilities & programs that provide opportunities for all ages to learn, create, grow & play. For the last 28 years, Raven Hill Discovery Center’s mission has been to provide a place that enhances hands-on and lifelong learning for all ages by connecting science, history and the arts.
